The Coro Center for Civic Leadership seeks a Program Associate who is passionate about Coro’s mission and is eager to work in an innovative environment. Reporting to the Vice President, the Program Associate will support programs, community capacity building, and other organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver, able to communicate and interact with multiple constituencies including: alumni, participants, universities, investors, candidates, Coro partners, and community leaders. 

While the successful candidate will work across programs, the majority of their time will be focused on Coro’s full-time nonprofit apprenticeship programs in partnership with AmeriCorps.

Salary: based on experience, $36,000-40,000 package inclusive of negotiable benefit options including remote work, health/wellcare benefits, flextime, and paid PTO 

Service Conditions: Occasional evening and weekend work required, 

Required background checks: NSOPW, State Police and FBI Fingerprinting

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as front-line staff for Coro programming including but not limited to: active participation in recruitment efforts; data collection, tracking and processing; background check requirements; communication with candidates for Coro programs; representation of the organization 
  • Ensure AmeriCorps compliance including, but not limited to, participant continuing eligibility and partner compliance
  • Execute logistics and coordination for events including but not limited to: participant retreats, interview days, communications, and fundraising activities
  • Coordinate meetings and communication where applicable for external program participants including: alumni, vendors, community leaders, program participants, and partners
  • Provide tech support and act as tech point person for virtual trainings
  • Work with recruitment and program team to research, create assets map, and create in-house data management system for alumni, partners, and subject matter experts
  • Support grant reporting and data requirements
  • Additional program projects and tasks as they arise

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Desired Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years experience in an administrative or programmatic capacity
  • Project management and/or event planning experience
  • Communication acumen for diverse constituencies
  • Adept at data management, analysis, and entry
  • Detailed-oriented 
  • Experience with Zoom, Salesforce, Google Suite, including Google calendar/scheduling
  • Skilled at collaboration in dynamic environments
  • Able to support and balance multiple work streams and projects
  • Multi/Bilingual abilities preferred
